I created the #moontideperiodpants pattern which is a sewing pattern specifically for period pants!

There are 6 different flow options and 2 have wings for heavy flows (which are my favourite!) in 9 sizes.

I love this pattern as I love the diversity of fabrics you can use, what with be able to use rigid and stretch fabrics, making every set really unique!

A reminder for you to measure your body before you create something for yourself!

Don’t assume your measurements will stay the same…

Your body is constantly changing even if you have a stable weight, your shape may change, you may become more sensitive etc.

🔥 Hot tip - if your body changes a lot, make a point of making your lingerie more adjustable. Think stretch fabrics and fasteners with several rows of eyes!

I'm going to be moving away from selling the physical lingerie sewing supplies on the shop and concentrate more on the teaching resources because that's what I really love doing, you've been asking for and it gives me the flexibility to live in different places. (you may or may not know I live on a narrow boat most of the time and my mum has been helping out by packing the orders up from her home!)

Although I must say I have LOVED putting the kits together for you all to create your own lingerie but it’s time for a change! 🌟

These two beautiful Full bust Willows were made by my amazing pattern tester! 😍

She first made the red one which was a size 6 cup then decided to go up a size to the black one which was a size 7 cup.

She also widened the cradle for the size 7 (which has now been updated in the final pattern too!) and found the ballet back much more comfortable which I do recommend for full bust sizes.

My tester said - “I think people will end up making this over and over because the drafting makes it so easy to sew!”

Which one is your favourite?

I love both of these but I feel the black one especially is so elegant! 🖤
