I wasnā€™t sure what I wanted to do but I knew I needed some time to figure things out. Iā€™ve since come to the conclusion to close all Sew Projects courses at this moment in time. Sew projects patterns will continue to be available on the Payhip shop though! I will be cancelling the course platform after the 5th of February, which is where I hold all my courses on. With this said you have one last chance to purchase the courses and either work through it in the next month and/or you can download the lessons so you can continue your learning after the course platform closes. I started sew projects in 2019 Tbh I started it b I started sew projects in 2019 Tbh I started it because I wasnā€™t in the physical condition to be at the sewing machine everyday with my handmade lingerie brand. So I thought if I canā€™t make it, I can help others make their own! Itā€™s completely possible to have a period where Itā€™s completely possible to have a period where you feel fully protected in your underwear alone so that you donā€™t have to dread going out with the thought of leaks and uncomfortableness but you havenā€™t made the switch to me made period pants yet because.. 1. Youā€™re skeptical about me-made period products I totally get this because I was so skeptical about me-made period pants, thinking no they canā€™t work, they need to be manufactured by a big company so they work properly with all the technical materials they need. I was well and truly wrong! Yes you can 100% make your own period pants and IMO they work better than shop bought ones because you can make them suite your body exactly! šŸ‘Œ 2. Youā€™re worried you donā€™t have the skills If you are a beginner sewer I totally understand. But period pants are much easier to sew then youā€™d think! And even if the first ones arenā€™t perfect you can make another one and I bet you they will be more than twice as good! Donā€™t put your skills down! You can do so much more than you think you can! 3. Youā€™re worried about toxic chemicals in period pants Yep this a big one! There have been some brands to have known to have toxic chemicals in such as PFAS and high levels of silver and this is why with creating your own you have much more control over this, because you can choose your own fabrics! Wow what a beauty! šŸ˜ This is the Dinner at 8 b Wow what a beauty! šŸ˜ This is the Dinner at 8 bra pattern by @annieandmyras that has just been released! I made this beautiful bra as a test sample for someone else and it was such a joy to make! šŸ¤© There were some areas which were hand sewn like parts of the power bar and although hand sewing doesnā€™t always excite me, I actually thoroughly enjoyed laying back on the bed with my silk and needle in hand, not having to sit crouched over a machine (Which is something I have struggled with for a while because of neck problems) and hand sew some parts of this beautiful bra together! I realised I want to do more of that now (just need a good thimble!) But it was also a fairly quick sew and came together faster than I thought! So this bra is designed for full busts from a 30-38 D-G so definitely check it out if this is your size range!
