Sewing Gift Guide

Here’s the lingerie sewing gift guide for anyone needing to buy a sewing gift or for someone who you may think would love to sew their own undies!

1. Beginner knicker Sewing kit and printed pattern

The beginner knicker kit is the ultimate perfect sewing gift! The kit comes with a woven, printed cotton of your choice, decorative lingerie elastic and organic cotton and bamboo jersey for the gusset as well as the Penny pattern if selected. I created the Penny pattern so it would be perfect for beginners or those that are wanting to get into lingerie making so it’s a great place to start!

2. Decorative lingerie elastic sets

These are the perfect stocking filler! I’ve put together sets of some really lovely lingerie elastic. These are great if you have lots of left over fabrics from larger projects but you haven’t got any elastic. The embroidered heart pre folded elastic is my favourite! Not only is it super pretty but so soft too!

3. Period Panty Gusset Kit

The Gusset kit is a great sustainable sewing gift. The gift receiver will be able to use their own supply of fabric to create the main part of the knickers so all they need to convert them into period pants are the technical fabrics supplied in the kit. It’s something a bit different but I think it will go down really well!

4. Bralette and knicker kit

The new organic cotton jersey and stretch lace kits are an excellent gift for a sewing friend. There are two colour choices, a lovely deep red/burgundy perfect for the festive season or a classic black, (the black lace is stunning!) The kits are suitable for lots of bralette and knicker patterns which is great if your gift receiver already creates lingerie garments. For these kits I recommend the Ivy knickers and the Barbary bralette.

I hope that’s given you some ideas if you’re struggling to find the perfect sewing present.
